Big Park, Arizona, Named International Dark Sky Community
Sedona’s Village of Oak Creek Granted Dark Sky Community Status after a community effort was made to obtain the status from the International Dark Sky Association. The communities business and citizens wrote letters to the Association expressing their interest in the community continuing it’s protection of dark skies. Sedona had been given the designation last year along with Flagstaff having achieved Dark sky status a few years back makes this the densest grouping of IDA communities!!
Just another reason Sedona and the Village of Oak Creek are such desirable communities to live in or invest in Sedona Real Estate!
